Keynotes at Meeting C++ 2026

Mateusz Pusz

Kate Gregory

Kate Gregory

With Mateusz Pusz and Kate Gregory I've chosen two well known speakers for the keynotes this year. Mateusz is well known for his units library, which currently also is proposed for the standard. It is also an important contribution to making C++ more safe and secure, the big topic of last year. Then Kate Gregory will be visiting us in Berlin again, she is known for her ability to create great talks around technical and social aspects in our daily lives as devs. You might remember her from giving a keynote in 2017, or speaking about the aging programmer two years ago.

A third keynote is for the moment open.

Attending

For the 15th time Meeting C++ will organize a great event for 3 days filled with lots of content about C++, like last year the plan is to host 3 tracks in parallel in Berlin, with an optional 4th track. The 4th track will be unlocked either by sponsorships or ticket sales. You can be a part of this great C++ event by attending onsite and online. There is already great news for onsite attendees: Hudson River Trading is again this years t-shirt sponsor, a great and unique Meeting C++ 2026 t-shirt is an exclusive perk for onsite attendees!

This is a very important part: Meeting C++ relies on the conference for its funding, so your visit to Berlin makes a difference! I expect that budgets in many companies will become frozen again (this was an issue in 2025), so you should buy your tickets early. I've made them a bit cheaper for attending the conference onsite. While I do have to increase the price for online tickets, as they also need to contribute the conference. Hotel tickets are also available again, but I was able to reduce the hotel contingent, so they'll be sold out quicker.

My goal is to publish a program by July, which then will also be opened for the onsite voting in September.

Speaking

The call for talks will be announced soon, and run until June 4th. While the voting starts at June 22nd. Every submission is welcome, I expect to see many submissions on C++26, safety, AI and other popular topics like coroutines! AI will play a role in this years conference, as its still in trend, and some folks might need this to be able to unlock the visit in Berlin. Submit your talk ideas until June 4th! As you can edit your submissions, you should prefer to submit early.

Sponsors

This years event offers great opportunities for sponsors! This year the sponsoring not only includes the conference, but also makes an effort to include sponsors better into Meeting C++. Sponsors will be able to feature in events at Meeting C++ online, view candidates for hiring online or contribute to the Meeting C++ blog! Hudson River Trading has already signed up as this years t-shirt sponsor, they will also be present with a booth at the conference, thanks HRT! I'm also already in contact with other sponsors to debate this years sponsoring activities! Reach out to sponsoring@meet...cpp.com if you'd like to sponsor this years event!
