Software Engineer C++ (all genders)
Your mission:
Join us in crafting cutting-edge engineering software that is essential for our production systems. Seamlessly integrate complex algorithms and advanced functionalities into an intuitive user experience. Address the unique demands of composite laminate designers. Your tasks:
- Develop our ARTIST STUDIO software, including CAD (laminate design), CAM (robot offline programming & simulation), and interfaces to our machines and structural simulation (FEA) software
- Develop and improve complex algorithms (geometries/meshes, 3D data structures, transformations)
- Collaborate in conceptual discussions to shape the future of our software
- Support multi-functional R&D and customer projects
- Test software; maintain documentation and tests
- Work closely with fellow software developers and engineers from other teams
Your profile:
- University degree in informatics, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- Professional programming experience in modern C++, ideally with MS Visual Studio
- Experience with git, CI, code reviews, working in agile teams
- Experience with one of the following areas would be a plus: 3D transformations and algorithms; Qt; CAD kernel (e.g., OpenCascade); industrial automation
- Good English language skills, German is a plus
